AJR-48 Nose

This evening I cut out the elevator and rudder servo locations, added ribs to reenforce the rear section of the plane and finally trimmed the nose section to shape.

Onto the photos.

Servos installed. Metal geared one for the rudder/tail gear.

Ribs to help the structure.

Elevator servo. Most of the plane will use the HXT900 9g / 1.6kg / .12sec Micro Servo.

The rudder gear. Turnigy TGY-50090M Metal Gear 9g Analog Servo is from the YC-14′ nose gear.

Then did some cuts to shape the bomber area and cockpit shape.

Turned out ok. I’ll have to do the cover next.

GoPro test. Won’t know the real spot till after I do the CG test.

Pretty happy with the look so far.
